[Q: what does "dcj" mean?] "Don't Cry Jennifer".

[Q: why is your fan site called "don't cry jennifer"?] I was listening to the music from Clock Tower SFC one day and I came across a track titled "Don't Cry Jennifer". There was something about the track that I liked, it started off with a chorus and then it cuts to the chase theme. It was creepy and you knew that when you heard it, you're gonna die. When creating a Fan Site, I decided it was the best title for me to use.

[Q: why just "jennifer"? what about the other heroines?] I do understand that with the title "Don't Cry Jennifer" may be Jennifer biased. But think of it this way, if it wasn't for Jennifer -- Clock Tower would've never been made. Trust me, I love Y and Alyssa just as much as Jennifer, but you gotta pay props to the girl which started it all!

[Q: why don't you update often?] I do have a life outside of Clock Tower such as I have a full time job. Also I don't have any staff members, so I'm working on this by myself. I'll try to update as much as I can with as much information as possible, be patient with me! =D

[Q: why don't you reply to my e-mail?] Due to my busy schedule, I cannot reply to every e-mail I've receive and I apologize in advance for any inconveniences! Every once in a while, I will reply to some if I feel the need to or is of some importance. If you happen to have any information vital to this Fan Site and wish to submit, I will read your e-mail. If I see that this information is necessary, I will update with your submission and proper credit given.

[Q: why does your fan site look unprofessional?] I make this Fan Site in my spare time and I use programs such as TextPad, JASC Paint Shop Pro v7.0, and FrontPage Express to create it. I would really love for it to look very professional, but I hope you love what I have so far!

[Q: why can't i browse through your fan site?] My Fan Site was intended for 1280 x 1024 browsers. On 800 x 600 or weaker, it looks horrible!

[Q: what are the meanings behind the abbreviations?] I try to not use as much abbreviations. But if I do, here are what they mean: CT = Clock Tower series in general or Clock Tower for Super FamiCom. CT-TFF = Clock Tower ~The First Fear~. CT-FW95 = Clock Tower for Win95. CT-FWS = Clock Tower for WonderSwan. CT2 = Clock Tower 2 (Second). CT-USA = Clock Tower USA. CTGH = Clock Tower Ghost Head. CTII = Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within. CTII-TSW = Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within. CT3 = Clock Tower 3. CT3 JPN = Clock Tower 3 [Japanese Version]. CT3 USA = Clock Tower 3 [American Version]. JPN = Japanese or Japan. USA = American or America. PAL = European/International or Europe/International. CHN = Chinese. SFC = Super FamiCom, known as the Super Nintendo in America. PS = PlayStation / PS One. PS2 = PlayStation 2. WS = WonderSwan. Win95 = Windows 95.

[Q: did you translate the japanese?] Most of the stuff that was originally in Japanese, I have translated it into English. I also had help from great people such as daveinjapan, kern, and mao from GameFAQs. I am teaching myself Japanese and my translations have a chance of being inaccurate or loss in fluency, e-mail me if you feel that one of my translations are incorrect. I am always accepting offers as I want to make sure that everyone would know as much as they can about the Clock Tower series.

[Q: are you a member of aeon genesis?] No, I got into the Clock Tower series thanks to Aeon Genesis!

[Q: what do you think of aeon genesis' translation?] It's a great translation, very accurate, and easy to understand. I believe they took some liberties with Walter Simpson's scene [I may be wrong here!], but other than that -- I loved it. Though I would love it if Aeon Genesis changed the characters' names to what HUMAN Entertainment intended such as Rolla instead of Laura, but that's just me.

[Q: anne, rolla, and the burroughs? but i thought it was ann, laura, and the barrows!] When Aeon Genesis translated Clock Tower - The First Fear, they borrow the Barrows spelling from the American version. AGETEC most likely did not realize HUMAN Entertainment intended the Burroughs spelling, as shown in their Clock Tower 2: Capture Guidebook. Also Aeon Genesis decided to name the two friends Ann and Laura, though it is shown to be Anne and Rolla in the Clock Tower ~ The First Fear ~: Perfect Guide and Clock Tower - The First Fear -: How To Obtain Victory guidebooks. I prefer to use the names HUMAN Entertainment intended which are Anne, Rolla, and the Burroughs.

[Q: who are these japanese names you've listed?] The Japanese names come from Clock Tower Ghost Head, which in America is known as Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within. What we know as Alyssa Hale is actually Y Midshima. Clock Tower Ghost Head wasn't the only Clock Tower with name changes, there are also name changes in Clock Tower (~The First Fear~) [If you consider the fan translation by Aeon Genesis], Clock Tower [USA], and Clock Tower 3. I have written an article about these name changes.

[Q: why do you keep referring to the characters by their jap names?] Jap is a derogatory term, please abbreviate it as Jpn or Jp. And I mainly refer to the Clock Tower Ghost Head characters by their Japanese names to clear confusion. If I were to say Alyssa's name, you wouldn't know if I was talking about Alyssa of Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within or Alyssa of Clock Tower 3 unless you knew of the context.

[Q: what do i do if I think you have stolen content?] E-mail me, because I have listed proper credits. If a Website expresses, "Please do not steal my stuff without my permission!", I will ask them for it. But If I ever happen to have stolen content, I will take them off immediately.
